Flying Lotus ha formado parte del mundo cinematográfico a través de bandas sonoras, pero al parecer esto no fue suficiente, pues ahora el productor planea su debut como director, bajo el alias de Steve, con un fillme titulado Royal el cual tendrá su estreno en Sundance NEXT FEST de este año.
Si esto les parece un poco extraño les encantará saber que la idea de convertirse en director la sacó de aquel famoso GIF que estuvo circulando hace algunas semanas en la que Lotus tenía un divertido «discurso» con Tom Yorke acerca de sus eternos DJ sets, esto lo confesó con una serie de tweets en su cuenta oficial en la que también compartió su felicidad en esta nueva fase en su carrera e informó que el filme contará con nueva música.
El Sundance NEXT FEST se llevará a cabo del 12 al 14 de agosto en The Theatre de Los Angeles. Así que mientras ese momento acá te dejamos los encantadores comentarios de Lotus y el GIF que inspiró toda esta nueva historia:
