Arcade Fire, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix y Pearl Jam contribuyeron con material inédito en un compilado de Bandcamp

Este viernes 2 de octubre llevará a cabo un nuevo Bandcamp Friday, por lo que en las últimas horas se han estado revelando varios de los lanzamientos exclusivos que se podrán conseguir durante su rally de 24 horas.

Uno de ellos es el segundo compilado de Good Music to Avert the Collapse of American Democracy, cuyas ganancias serán destinadas a la asociación Voting Rights Lab.

El álbum está compuesto por 77 grabaciones inéditas, entre las que figuran covers, versiones en vivo, remixes y demos al mando de Pearl Jam, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix, My Morning Jacket, The Postal Service, !!!, Gossip, The War On Drugs, Fleet Foxes, Matt And Kim, Wolf Parade, Dan Deacon, Surfer Blood, Mexican Institute Of Sound, Rhye, Phantogram, Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band, Tenacious D y, entre muchos otros más, un cover a «Human Touch» de Nina Simone al mando de Feist y un cover de Arcade Fire a «This Must Be The Place» de Talking Heads con el respaldo de David Byrne.
