La revista MOJO acaba de publicar su recuento con todo lo mejor del año, siendo un adelanto del volumen que será presentado en enero 2024.
En su top 75 con los mejores discos de 2023, podemos encontrar a la cabeza el regreso de Blur con el álbum The Ballad Of Darren, por lo que la revista tuvo una conversación especial con Damon Albarn.
Es bien sabido que Damon siempre mantiene abiertos sus oídos y su mente para todo tipo de géneros musicales, sin importar si a los fans más puristas de sus proyectos difieren de sus gustos y opiniones, pues, ahora en esta entrevista abordó su gustó por Peso Pluma.
«De lo nuevo que más me gusta es Peso Pluma. Es este joven mexicano que ganó 8 Grammy Latino. Toca este tipo de música que habla de la vida de pandillas, pero es muy musical. Tiene acordeones, trompetas, melodías preciosas. Tiene una gran voz. Todo el mundo debería escucharlo.”
Este extracto de la entrevista fue difundido por la cuenta de fans, Damon Albarn Unofficial, donde… bueno, se está desatando un fenómeno similar al momento donde Gorillaz confirmó su colaboración con Bad Bunny con personas diciendo que a Damon «ya le está afectando la edad» y que debe de juntarse con más personas de su edad y no con los de su hija.
