Gorillaz anunció el álbum ‘The Mountain’ con Sparks, Bizarrap, IDLES, Johnny Marr y Trueno

La semana pasada Gorillaz concluyó su residencia de conciertos en Londres con un ‘Mystery Show’, donde se les hizo fácil debutar su nuevo álbum con una notable lista de invitados como Sparks, Johnny Marr, Joe Talbot de IDLES y Trueno.

Ahora, finalmente tenemos todos los detalles de su próximo material de larga duración: se llama The Mountain y definitivamente cuenta con invitados que no pueden pasar desapercibidos, ya que además de los que mencionamos previamente, también aparece Omar Souleyman, Bizarrap, Paul Simonon, Kara Jackson, Gruff Rhys, Black Thought, Anoushka Shankar, Ajay Prasanna, Yasiin Bey y Amaan & Ayaan Ali Bangash.

Pero eso no es todo, en The Mountain también hay canciones con sampleos vocales de Bobby Womack, Mark E. Smith, Tony Allen, Dave Jolicoeur, Dennis Hopper y Proof, siendo un homenaje de suma importancia para los icónos que colaboraron con Gorillaz en álbumes como Plastic Beach.

The Mountain estará disponible el 20 de marzo de 2026 con producción tanto de Gorillaz como de James Ford, Bizarrap, Samuel Egglenton y Remi Kabaka Jr. A continuación, escuchen «The Happy Dictator» con la colaboración de Sparks,
