Si pensaban que jamás escucharían material nuevo del difunto músico, estaban equivocados. ‘Out Among the Stars’ será el nuevo álbum que se publique con canciones inéditas de Johnny Cash el 25 de marzo del próximo año.
El álbum que el estadounidense grabó a principios de los 80 junto con el productor Billy Sherrill jamás fue publicado por Columbia Records, y este desapareció alrededor del año 1986. Sin embargo, fue John Carter Cash, hijo del cantautor country, quien junto con el archivista de Legacy Recordings, encontraron el año pasado el material perdido.
Serán 12 canciones las que compongan el álbum que hasta hace algunos meses era considerado inexistente, entre las cuales figuran duetos de Johnny junto a su esposa y con el músico Waylon Jennings.
